What is the process of working with LSAT Prep Connecticut?

Contact us through either phone (860) 510-0410 or e-mail.

We will discuss your specific situation and figure out how best to help you.  From there, we will schedule individual tutoring sessions at mutually convenient times, presumably through Zoom or any other virtual platform.  I should add that we will only suggest scheduling if we are confident that we can help you.

How many hours and what is the rate?

The number of hours is entirely customized.  Some students start with us as they begin LSAT prep.  For such students, I estimate about 6-10 hours to acquire the best practices for mastering the LSAT.  For some, this number is sufficient or they have a limited budget that dictates the amount. For others, they continue as desired.   Some clients work with us for 20 plus hours.

Others meet us after they have been through the basics of a test prep program.  Usually, we then focus on a challenging area and that may mean 3-6 hours and, of course, this could mean more, if and only if, you decide.

The rate... happy to share the hourly and discounted package rate... but please contact us as we prefer not to state our rates online.

Do you only work in Connecticut?

Ha!  The name LSAT Prep Connecticut is simply helpful for search engine optimization.  Essentially, it's easier to get noticed with a geographic term in a name.  Our offices are in Connecticut and most of our clients have some connection with Connecticut but live in other states.

Moreover, many clients have worked with The Learning Consultants in the past and that helps us leverage our Connecticut client base.  The most common client is someone who worked with us for SAT prep while living in Connecticut but now attends college in another state.  Our larger company, while primarily based in Connecticut, also has offices in New York, NJ, and Washington, DC.

Virtual or In person

Both but mostly virtual.  Even pre-pandemic, about 80% of our LSAT prep was virtual because many of our clients did not live in Connecticut or they attended college outside of Connecticut.  But we also meet in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and happy to do so if you are able.

Why are you better than others?

Most of our clients know me through  The Learning Consultants.  Some know me through other teaching endeavors  (enter Daryl Capuano).  This is a long way of saying... it would be way better if you know of me through your own sources as blathering on about myself is uncomfortable.

I will simply say that you likely will be evaluating other companies that have good reputations - such as Kaplan or Princeton Review or Varsity Tutors- but note that the teacher is all that matters.   The assigned teacher is much more hit or miss at franchises.  Some are very good.  Some are not.  And, you - as a new LSAT student with no other LSAT teacher to compare with - will not know the difference.  This test is too important to leave your future to chance.

Customized Curriculum

We understand that every student has unique needs and learning styles. That's why we create customized curriculums tailored to your specific strengths and weaknesses.
